Meandering Moods

 A good photograph can affect our senses before we've ever been there, which evokes definite feelings and broadens associations in our minds and memories.

With the camera, we can encapsulate the spirit of a place and convey that passion to the viewer with the essential elements of design, colour, line, pattern, texture and form. These become your visual vocabulary; the photographic technique provides the syntax. The synthesis of the two is communication.

Central Park is an oasis, a retreat from the hustle and bustle of a giant metropolis. Luckily, for our first time in New York, the wife and I met our gracious Behance friend Wellington Lee and his very talented daughter Michelle, who took time from their personal lives to show us the ropes.

There is a genuine tranquillity and atmosphere in this neck of the woods, arguably the most exciting city in the world.
